“Coffee of the day” flat white at Peaberry’s (268 Charman Rd, Cheltenham)
Taste: 4/5 - Well rounded, rich Ethiopian Sabino blend. Very enjoyable
Style: 3/5 - Nice crema squiggly things….yay
X-factor: 4/5 - Getting blasted with the smell of beans as soon as you open the door you know you’re in the right place. Would be great first thing in the morning. -1 point for the creepy emos with bolts through their cheeks loitering out the front

Hungover Latte at Groove Train (23 Church St, Brighton)
Taste: 2.5/5 - Given how many Marc-E-Marks were consumed the night before at Revellers I was suprised I could taste anything at all but this was just a little Insipid. Bit like me at the time
Style: 2.5/5 - Crema and foam were a little stale too
X-factor: 2/5 - Waiter was a Buzz Killington and service was slow. We still managed to laugh a lot about “Me and my crew layin pipe” on youtube though

Takeaway flat white from Pantry & Larder (16 S concourse, Beaumaris)
Taste: 4/5 - smooth, caramelly finish. Tasted like colleague asked for 1 sugar as well. Lucky he’s leaving in a week.
Style: -/5 - in too much of a hurry to check under lid.
X-factor: 2/5 - double cardboard corrugated cup with black plastic lid is nice but tugs at unnecessary enviromental guilt area of brain

Coffee in my bed room…..
Taste: 3/5 - for a coffee made from a 5 year old Saeco automatic machine with microwaved milk she punches above her weight. Maybe should take up the machines offer to “de-calcify” though.
Style: 1/5 - shithouse, no crema art here
X-factor: 4.5/5 - served in large “Taz” mug BOOM
